I can’t believe how badly this trip has started off. First my flights to England were changed to accommodate Heathrow’s rules meaning I had to come a day earlier and stay in a hotel. I chose a cheap one miles from Heathrow. It cost the earth to get a taxi here and there isn’t much here besides a pizza joint. I thought perhaps I could change my flight to Inverness to an earlier one but now I hear that all flights will be banned during the Queen’s funeral. I can’t phone on my cell and BA says I have to get Air Canada to do the changing. Where is the icon for pulling your hair out?!

Brain Expanding Travel Prep
The amount of stuff that has to be understood and organized to travel is daunting. The health matters - Do I have enough pills for the time away? Is my proof of vaccine available? Am I taking enough COVID precautions? Health insurance? Do I have the right clothes, shoes, equipment? Do I remember how to do a blog?!
